The owners of Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant have been in the Chinese Catering Industry for more than 30 years. Mrs Pei Zhu (pronounced Faye) and her husband have a successful chain of Chinese Takeaway/ Fish and Chips Shops in the Liverpool Area known as Yang Sing.
In 2007, they noticed that the Chinese Restaurant establishment were moving closer to ‘eat as much as you can’ buffet style foods and fewer top quality a la carte’, service orientated style restaurants.
They both decided that there was a niche market in the Merseyside-St Helens Area for an ‘up-market’ stylish restaurant.
One of the main criteria was a large car park and disabled facilities.
To this end, they sourced and planned everything in detail and have come up with a restaurant that has now delighted customers of all types including Food Critics such as Janet Tansley from The Liverpool Echo whom in its 2nd October 2008 edition, did a surprise feature on Sing Faye. Her summary were:
